Help Support our Current Kittens in Our Care

BASIC CARE AND VETTING: (costs roughly $250 per cat)

Basic vet expenses with our established vet includes Initial vet exam, fecal test, dewormers including for coccidia, and antibiotics if needed. This cost does NOT include emergency visits and additional treatments or testing. 


Spaying/Neutering and rabies shots are given to kittens at least 12 weeks old at Animal Protection League (APL). APL is typically booked out 1-2 months.


PREVENTION: ($35 per cat per month)

Each cat over 6 weeks old will get a single dose of Revolution Plus preventative, which costs $35 per cat and only lasts for one month. Revolution Plus protects against fleas, ticks, ear mites, roundworms, hookworms, and heartworm disease.


BASIC MONTHLY SUPPLIES: (Over $700 per month)

  • We only use a specific litter (Arm and Hammer). Best place to purchase this litter is Chewy and Walmart.
  • Purina Kitten Chow dry food and Fancy Feast Kitten can food (for the kittens)
  • Purina Indoor dry food and 9 Lives can food (older cats and mommas)
  • Vitamins, L-Lysine and Probiotics are added to the kitty food weekly.
  • Kitten formula/milk and feeding supplies (for the baby kittens under 5 weeks old)
  • Additional supplies, such as: puppy pads, litter powder, cleaning supplies, disinfectants, odor control,  etc.

  • Contact Amanda to meet up and drop off supplies.
  • Drop off supplies at one of our upcoming events.
  • Donate to our GoFundMe accounts or via donate page.  100% goes to kitties.

ADOPTION FEES:

Adoption fees are to help offset the initial cost of getting the kitten ready for adoption. The fees do not completely reimburse the costs incurred per kitten.


All adoption fees are final, no refunds!


All kittens will have initial care (vet exam, fecal test, deworming (if needed, ear mite treatment (if needed), and a single dose of Revolution Plus.


Kittens Under 12 Weeks of Age: Adoption Fee $140 (no discounts, non-refundable)

The Adopter must sign an agreement to have the kitten's rabies shot by 16 weeks of age (per Texas State Law) and at the Adopter's sole expense, and to have the kitten spayed or neutered and at the Adopter's sole expense. The youngest a kitten can be sterilized and receive a rabies shot is 12 weeks. At Animal Protection League (APL). 


Kittens Over 12 Weeks of Age: Adoption Fee $200 (no discounts, non-refundable)

Kitten will have had a rabies shot (one-year) and been spayed/neutered upon adoption.


It is recommended that the Adopter get the kitten tested for FIV/FeLV after 12 weeks of age. This is not included in the adoption fee.

  

It is recommended that the Adopter continue the monthly Revolution Plus preventative, which protects against fleas, ticks, ear mites, roundworms, and heartworm disease.


  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid ID, and obtain permission from the landlord (if renting). Additionally, all adults in the home must agree to adopt the kitty. A home visit may be necessary before finalizing the adoption to ensure a safe and loving environment.  
  • Adopted kitties must live indoors at least 50% of the time.
  • All cats in the Adopter's home must be sterilized and have current rabies shots.
